Upcoming Conferences

CELT Global Health are hosting a new conference in October. It’s two days of presentations, keynote speakers, panels and networking from expert colleagues and peers from various areas within the long-acting sphere.

The conference is LA-GLOBAL on 29-30 October 2026, in The Spine in Liverpool (UK). The conference webpage is live and includes the links to register: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/celt-global-health/events/la-global/.

As well as bringing LA-GLOBAL to your attention, we’re also letting people know that the current abstract submission deadline is 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 8th July and the submission form can be found here: LA-GLOBAL Abstract Submission Form.

There are five themes we’re using to curate the content and abstracts:

  • Advances in long-acting manufacturing
  • Frontiers in long‑acting drug delivery
  • Safety and immuno-compatibility
  • Pre-clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics
  • Maternal and paediatric health

We also have a limited travel bursary for selected presenters from low- and middle- income countries. Global health is in our name and we’re actively encouraging and supporting participation from investigators within the communities we want our work to serve.
